LABORATORY

The Kikuyu Hospital Laboratory is a member of the Digital Quality Control Scheme where we do compare the results obtained from our laboratory with other reputable laboratories in Kenya and outside Kenya.

We have obtained National Accreditation following good and quality results generated from our laboratory.

We have a fully automated Biochemistry Machine which is able to do a wide range of tests including ;-

• Cardiac Enzymes
• Liver function test
• Renal Function tests
• Lipid Profile (Cholesterol levels)

Our HIV diagnosis and monitoring tests are done here for patients on Antiretroviral Therapy (ART)

We also carryout tests on other medical disciplines including:-

• Parasitology
• Haematology
• Microbiology
• Immunology (Blood Transfusion)

We have a team of clients sensitive, customer friendly and qualified Medical Laboratory Technologists who analyse all pathological specimens.
